Graphing the Energy of Moving Matter:
Student Instructions:

In "The Energy of Moving Matter," you worked with Cosmo to discover:

  • Energy changes with a change in the mass of the object.
  • Energy changes with a change in the speed of an object.

In "Graphing the Energy of Moving Matter," you will work with Cosmo to answer these questions:

Investigation:

  1. What happens to energy if you vary the mass but keep the speed constant?
  2. What happens to energy if you keep the mass constant but vary the speed?
Do this: Write the lab title and the investigation questions in your lab notebook.
